As an Airbnb host, it’s hard not to be bombarded with recommendations for tons and tons of things you “need” for your guests. That’s because, the truth is, everyone “needs” something different so unless you buy absolutely everything, there’s no way you can please everyone!

That said, there are certain things that go a long way with the vast majority of Airbnb guests and make your life as a host much easier. I’m talking about inexpensive, high-quality, and very impactful things that your guests will love. Don’t make the mistake of wasting your hard-earned money on things you don’t need for your Airbnb. Instead, check out these 3 things you won’t regret buying (from an 8x Airbnb Superhost who’s grossed $160k+ in revenue to date).

3 Things You Won’t Regret Buying for Your Airbnb

1. This high-quality and inexpensive coffee maker

Here’s the thing–coffee makers break. Carafes crack, filters get clogged, handles break, and so on. Even investing in expensive coffee makers doesn’t prevent these issues–I’ve replaced my $100 coffee maker at home more times than I can count because it clogs all the time (even with regular cleanings). So, there’s no need to spend tons of money on a fancy coffee maker. Not even those expensive Keurigs (which, in my opinion, make horrible coffee anyway).

Instead, opt for this high-quality and inexpensive coffee maker. It’s super reliable, works exceptionally well, and is super easy to replace if when it breaks (I’ve already replaced mine once after the carafe broke during someone’s stay).

Pro Tip: If you think your guests will also want to make individual cups of coffee, simply grab this inexpensive pour-over or french press (which are also great backups if your coffee maker happens to go out mid-stay).

2. Super comfortable mattresses

I can’t stress this enough–guests care A LOT about getting a great night’s sleep. If your guests don’t get a great night’s sleep, trust me, you’ll hear about it! I’ve had many guests say they had slept wonderfully well (and even asked for a link to the mattress so they can buy it for their homes) and even a couple guests who said they slept horribly, which is one of the last things you want to hear as an Airbnb host!

My exact mattress has gone up in price a lot, but here’s another high-quality, very low-cost, and super comfortable mattress your guests will love.

Pro Tip: A great night’s sleep doesn’t stop with the mattress. Get everything you need for a 5-star bed in this blog post.

3. Plenty of high-quality dishes

Dishes are one of the smaller details at an Airbnb that, overall, help guests feel like they’re getting a great value and 5-star stay all around. So, don’t skimp on supplying your guests with high-quality dishes. Guests have even thanked me for providing them with plenty of these dishes so that they didn’t have to wash and reuse them after every single meal.

Pro Tip: Protect your nice plates and make the families that stay with you happy by providing this set of inexpensive and high-quality kids’ dinnerware too. (Check out all 5 can’t-miss items for a family-friendly Airbnb.)

Takeaway

There you have it! 3 things that will be welllll worth the money at your Airbnb. Get ready for happy guests AND a happy host (that’s you!) now that you have these inexpensive, high-quality, and very impactful itenss that your guests will love.
