Getting a good night’s sleep is crucial for guests, which is why providing high-quality Airbnb bedding is essential. But, bedding at an Airbnb gets stained surprisingly easily and, when it does, it needs to be replaced right away.

That’s what makes the sheets, pillows, duvets, and mattresses in this post the perfect fit for any Airbnb. Every piece is so high-quality, ultra-comfortable, and inexpensive that both you AND your guests will be obsessed.

Make Your Guests Think They’re at a Luxury Hotel With This Airbnb Bedding

Sheets

Finding the BEST sheets for your Airbnb can feel like an impossible task. Your guests expect them to be high-quality, comfortable, and soft. At the same time, you need them to be inexpensive, so that replacing your sheets when they inevitably get stained is stress-free.

Thankfully, this perfect sheet set checks ALL the boxes. Trust me, I get compliments on these exact sheets all the time!

And, since Airbnb sheets get stained easily, you should expect to replace them several times a year. I highly recommend having three backup sets, so your cleaners can quickly swap ruined sheets with new ones.

Airbnb Hosting Tip: Another can’t-miss detail at your Airbnb is cleanliness, which guests care a lot about. Make sure your bedding instantly looks and feels clean by choosing white sheets for all your beds.

Pillows

Nothing is worse than sleeping on an overly stuffed, flat, or clumpy pillow and waking up the next morning with neck pain.

Avoid giving your guests a literal headache (and the complaints that come along with it!) by providing these fluffy, comfortable, and low-cost cooling pillows on every bed.

Airbnb Hosting Tip: You may have heard that pillow protectors are essential to keep your pillows clean and bed bug-free. But pillow protectors tend to be costly and uncomfortable. Instead, I recommend simply washing your pillows when you visit your Airbnb for a property maintenance check. That’s also the perfect time to test out each pillow and replace them if they’re starting to feel flat or uncomfortable.

Duvets

Traditional comforters are very hard to wash, making them a poor choice for your Airbnb. Opt for duvet covers and duvet inserts instead, because you can easily throw several duvet covers in the wash between guests.

Your guests will love that these all-season duvet inserts are thick and fluffy without being too hot or too cold. Add on these beautiful and soft duvet covers for the perfect pairing.

Airbnb Hosting Tip: Just like your pillows, be sure to wash your duvet inserts when you visit your Airbnb for property maintenance. I also recommend keeping one backup of each duvet insert size stored in a vacuum bag in your supply closet. That way, if you ever need to replace a duvet, you don’t have to go without one while a new duvet insert gets delivered.

Mattresses

Having a comfortable mattress in every bedroom is something that just can’t be overlooked.

Not only is getting a good night’s sleep essential, but one of the first things your guests will do when they arrive is plop down on the bed to test it out. Make a fantastic first impression with this high-quality (and surprisingly low-cost!) memory foam mattress.

Airbnb Hosting Tip: To make your Airbnb feel truly luxurious, get king-size mattresses where possible. Highlight your memory foam mattresses on your Airbnb listing to assure potential guests that they’ll get a great night’s sleep when they stay with you.

But, buying just a mattress isn’t enough. I’ve heard horror stories about unbelievable messes Airbnb guests left in their beds (I’ll spare you the details). Lessen the impact of these disasters and protect your investment with these must-have mattress protectors and mattress encasements.

Airbnb Hosting Tip: Go the extra mile by investing in bed bug-proof mattress encasements for your mattresses as well. These are a bit more expensive than typical mattress protectors, but I love the peace of mind I get by knowing that if there ever is a worst-case bed bug scenario, the impact will be a little less awful with these mattress encasements. And since these encasements can’t be easily removed, I love having a mattress protector on top, which my cleaners can easily wash as needed.

Box springs

Ideally, you’ll save money by buying a bed frame that doesn’t require a box spring. But, if your bed frame does require one, these box springs are relatively inexpensive, easy to assemble, and hold up well.

And, you don’t want to draw attention to your box springs. Cover that weird off-white fabric with a nice, crisp, fitted sheet instead. This super inexpensive purchase will instantly elevate your Airbnb bedrooms.

Airbnb Hosting Tip: Be sure to test your box springs for any squeaks during your property maintenance checks.

Takeaway

I hope this Airbnb checklist saves you tons of time setting up your Airbnb. (Congrats, by the way! Starting your first Airbnb is a HUGE accomplishment!)
